1. Purpose and application
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every customer, authorized user, configuration, communication, integration, and end-user experience using the Torklio Service. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Customer is responsible for use by its personnel, contractors, and anyone acting through its account.
2. General rule
Use Torklio only for lawful, transparent, business-related communications and administrative workflows approved by Torklio. Do not use the Service in a manner that deceives, harms, exploits, discriminates against, surveils, threatens, or materially inconveniences another person, or that exposes Torklio, a provider, or another customer to legal or security risk.
3. Prohibited industries and use cases
The following uses are prohibited unless Torklio later approves them in writing after appropriate legal, contractual, and technical controls are verified:
healthcare, medical practices, patient communications, or any collection, storage, or transmission of protected health information;
emergency dispatch, 911 replacement, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, poison control, or other time-critical safety services;
medical, legal, tax, accounting, investment, lending, insurance, or other regulated professional advice;
eligibility, ranking, or high-impact decisions involving employment, housing, credit, education, insurance, healthcare, government benefits, or access to essential services;
debt collection, political campaigning, gambling, adult services, controlled substances, firearms, weapons, or illegal products;
biometric identification, voiceprint creation, emotion inference, covert surveillance, or monitoring of individuals without valid authority; and
services directed primarily to children under 13 or unlawful collection of children's personal information.
4. Restricted industries
Legal, financial, tax, accounting, insurance, childcare, and other regulated or safety-sensitive businesses may be subject to manual review and written restrictions. If approved, Torklio may perform administrative functions such as answering general questions supplied by the business, collecting nonsensitive contact information, scheduling, routing, and taking messages. The Service must not provide professional advice, make eligibility decisions, promise outcomes, or handle emergencies.
5. Prohibited data
Do not configure Torklio to request, collect, store, repeat, summarize, or transmit:
protected health information or medical histories;
Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, passport or driver's-license numbers;
full payment-card numbers, card security codes, bank credentials, or authentication secrets;
passwords, one-time passwords, private keys, recovery codes, or security-question answers;
precise information about children unless specifically approved and lawfully handled;
biometric templates, voiceprints, or information intended to infer sensitive traits; or
information that Customer has no lawful right to collect, use, disclose, or upload.
6. Communications and consent
Customer may not use Torklio for spam, purchased lead lists, unlawful robocalls or robotexts, caller-ID spoofing, deceptive marketing, harassment, repeated contact after opt-out, or communications lacking required consent. Customer must identify the responsible business, preserve consent evidence, distinguish transactional messages from marketing, and honor revocation through any reasonable channel.
Customer may not enable call recording or transcription without required notice and consent. Customer may not conceal Torklio's AI identity, imitate a real person without authorization, or use synthetic voice to create a false endorsement or material deception.
7. Security and platform integrity
Customer may not probe, scan, exploit, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, resell without authorization, bypass access controls, interfere with monitoring, introduce malware, extract another tenant's data, manipulate prompts to reveal protected information, or use the Service to attack another system. Good-faith security research requires prior written authorization from Torklio.
8. Content and conduct
Customer may not use Torklio to create or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, or discriminatory content; impersonate a government, business, or individual; misrepresent prices or availability; fabricate appointments or customer consent; or encourage illegal or dangerous conduct.
9. Enforcement
Torklio may investigate suspected violations, require information, block a configuration or recipient, preserve relevant evidence, remove content, suspend features, terminate access, and report conduct when reasonably required by law or safety. When practical, Torklio will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. Serious, repeated, deceptive, or dangerous violations may result in immediate suspension.
10. Reporting
Report suspected abuse, unlawful communications, privacy concerns, or security issues to security@torklio.com. Include enough information for Torklio to identify the customer, interaction, and concern without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
